DT's ~FREE~ Proactive Alerts KO the Internet Underworld

Hi,

I'm Bob Wing, CEO of Distinctive Technologies.  We now provide FREE to Everyone our daily Proactive Alerts download.  Designed as a prevention service, Proactive Alerts warn consumers of PC problems before they occur by preventing them from opening malicious emails, informing them of available updates, and educating them on current Internet scams.  We like to say with Proactive Alerts we help you become Internet Street Smart.

Our free software will download and perform an inventory and test of your hardware and software as a baseline check.  An icon will be placed on your desktop to link you to our Internet site and allow you to view the alerts web page anytime you click it.  You can then begin seeing continual real time updates on your PC's hardware and software problems, viruses, spyware, malicious emails, phishing, and Internet scams of all types.  Our intent is to indicate potential problems and educate folks prior to them being affected.  Following are the alert categories and description:

1. Hardware Alert - Based on the system hardware inventory, our test will check for critical updates from the manufacturer.  Updates can be firmware patches, driver updates, or other hardware related fixes.
   
   
2. Software Alert - Based on the system software inventory, our test will check for version, patches, or any other updates to your complete list of installed software.
   
   
3. Virus/Spyware Alert - PC Pinpoint runs a test that compares the system inventory against known Virus and Spyware definitions or suspect processes.  PC Pinpoint will encourage you to scan your system if it sees a potential threat.
   
   
4. Security Alert - Based on any concerns for personal data or scams that may affect your personal security.  Our call center will document and outline what internet scams are prevalent, threats to your data, remote threats to your PC, or any other threat deemed to have the potential to harm you.
   
   
5. Email Alert - Warns you of emails that should not be opened or are suspicious, including potential virus, spyware, phishing, scams, and other items deemed to be potentially malicious.  These alerts add a level of protection to ensure our customers are hip to new issues so you are not taken advantage of.

Additionally, as part of our free network, customers can help protect their fellow consumers by providing us suspect emails and schemes that they identify.  Customers will be able to do their part to add a potential alert to our website and help others before they are taken advantage of by the Internet underworld.
